Flex LED Strips PCBA

Copper traces are made on a polyester or polyimide film to create Flex LED Strips, also known as FPC. Electronic products in the consumer, communication, medical, automotive, aviation, and military industries frequently use flexible PCBs, a dependable and mechanically flexible type of printed circuit board.

If you choose adhesiveless electro-deposited copper for Flex LED Strips PCBA, as the base conductor with ENIG surface finish. Silkscreen text which overlaps ENIG pads will be made as hollow cut-outs in the pad.

Exposed connector pads should be ≥ 0.2 mm from the FPC’s edge. Areas closer than this limit will be removed.

Stiffener and EMI shield are optional additions. These should be described by an individual Gerber layer or a separate CAD drawing, annotated with the material and thickness required in the case of stiffeners. The following images show the stiffener types available
