What method is used for PCBA processing?
1. Subtraction method. This type of method mainly uses chemicals to remove unnecessary areas on the blank circuit board, leaving the necessary circuits. PCBA design and processing mainly use screen printing or photosensitive plates, engraving for processing, to remove unnecessary parts.
2. Addition method. This type of method involves exposing the necessary areas through a combination of ultraviolet and photoresist, then thickening the circuit using electroplating, covering it with an etching resistant or thin metal tin, and finally removing the photoresist and the copper foil layer under the cage cover by etching.
3. Stacking method. This type of method is the most common method for PCBA processing and the main method for making multi-layer printed circuit boards. It is achieved by continuously repeating the process of layering from the inner layer to the outer layer, and then using subtraction or addition methods to process, thereby achieving the production of multi-layer printed circuit boards. The most important process is the layering method, which involves adding printed circuit boards layer by layer for repeated processing.
