Ceramic Circuit Board

What exactly is a ceramic circuit board? BSI PCB works with ceramic PCB field as well as a variety of PCB products. As a result, we have decided to share the definition and its applications with our readers. A ceramic PCB is a circuit board with a ceramic base material. PCB is an abbreviation for printed circuit board.

It is made of electronic ceramics that can be shaped and sized in a variety of ways. It is widely used in various fields that require better circuit boards due to its high temperature resistance and electrical insulation performance.

High thermal conductivity, low CTE, and high thermal resistance are just a few of the advantages ceramic has over organic substrates. It is an insulation material when compared to other "element." It becomes another copper clad laminate after being coated with copper. Then, it can be roughly treated as an "inlay" process and incorporated into conventional PCB construction( see my previous article on "coin insertion or coplanar or surface mixed hybridPCB"). The small space between ceramic and organic material can be filled with plated copper if it is exposed on the outer layer following the embedding process for Ceramic circuit board.
