Single-layer Printed Circuit Board

Single-layer printed circuit boards are extremely common and have a wide range of applications. Gerber files are used to create PCBs, and Schematics diagrams are the source of the creation of GERBER files. The electronic parts that are attached to the PCB's surface are connected. The electronics market makes extensive use of FR4 and IMS PCB. 

Basic single-layer-printed-circuit-board structure

Copper tracks or interconnects are only found on one layer of printed circuit boards, which are the most basic. These boards are referred to as one-layer PCBs or printed circuit boards. An inner layer and an outer layer make up a single-layer printed circuit board.

The process for single-sided boards includes the following steps:

Plating (if needed)
Solder Mask Application
